KARACHI, Jan 14: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan and Dr Malcolm Green, Governor of Stow College, Glasgow, welcomed and agreed for increased investment in education at all levels to be maintained by the City Council of Karachi.

In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for exchange of delegations of students, teachers and local councillors was signed at a meeting in the office of City Nazim.

Mr Khan and Dr Malcolm agreed that a broad base for sustained collaboration existed between Stow College and the City Council in the field of technical and vocational education.

They agreed to take forward with immediate effect the pursuit of practical collaboration for the development of quality teaching and learning through exchange of staff. Under the MoU, the Stow College and City Council of Karachi will cooperate with each other to encourage the use of relevant labour market intelligence, involve employers in the management of vocational education and training as well as to enhance career counselling for young people.-APP
