Saudi defence team arrives

RAWALPINDI, Jan 12: A ten-member delegation of Saudi Armed Forces led by Maj-Gen Khaled bin Abdul Aziz arrived here on Wednesday on a week-long official visit to Pakistan.

The delegation was received by Director-General of Armoured Corps Maj-Gen Malik Iftikhar Khan. Later, Maj-Gen Khaled bin Abdul Aziz and the members of his entourage visited Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) and called on HIT Chairman Maj-Gen Israr Ahmed Ghuman.

During the meeting, matters relating to professional interest, were discussed. The delegation also attended a detailed briefing about the administrative aspects of the HIT. They took round various sections of the complex and witnessed the staff busy in their routine activities.-APP
