KARACHI: Two bodies found in Korangi

KARACHI, Jan 11: The charred body of an elderly man was recovered from an under construction house in Korangi Industrial Area on Sunday.

Police said that unknown men had slit the throat of Mukhtar Ahmed, 65, and later burnt his body. Police found the body from an under construction house near Bagh-i-Korangi and shifted it to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical College for postmortem. The police said that the man used to sleep at the same house, the construction of which was also being supervised by him.

Meanwhile, police recovered a decomposed body from a locked house in Korangi on Sunday. Area people had informed the police about stench coming out from a vacant house, police broke the locked door and recovered the body from the house. The body was shifted to JPMC for postmortem. Police said that the body was several days old and badly decomposed.

DIES: A teenage boy died in an accidental firing in the limits of Sachal police station. Police said that Mohammad Waqas, 13, suffered a bullet wound in Gulzar-i-Hijri. He was taken to a hospital, where he died during treatment.
