KARACHI: Peace walk tomorrow

Published October 27, 2001

KARACHI, Oct 26: Civil society organizations and peace-loving citizens of the city will stage a Peace Walk on Oct 28.

The walk will begin from the main gate of the Quaid-i-Azam’s mausoleum on Sharea Quaideen at 10am, under the aegis of the Joint Action Committee for Peace, to promote peace in the country and South Asia.

The committee is also against the one-sided war being waged against the downtrodden and oppressed people of Afghanistan and Palestine. US aggression has not only endangered the lives of innocent Afghans but also put at risk the future of all the people living in the region, says a press release.
