KARACHI, Jan 1: The KBCA sealed off six marriage halls in Orangi Town again on Wednesday. The marriage halls had first been sealed off about one month back as they were functioning illegally.

However, they were later allowed to host the ceremonies for which booking had already been made till the time of action. The relaxations was allowed in the interest of those who had booked the halls.

After ensuring that all such ceremonies had since been held, Town Building Controller Mohsin Khan and other officials, acting upon the directives of KBCA chief Brig A. S. Nasir sealed the illegal marriage halls again on Wednesday.

These marriage halls are Eastern Star, Suhag Marriage Hall, Orangi Marriage Hall, Masha'allah Marriage Hall, Nawera Marriage Hall and Gulshan-i-Behar Marriage Hall.
