PESHAWAR, Aug 30: The Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami and vice-president of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Qazi Hussain Ahmad, has said that if the MMA is voted to power, it would provide justice to everyone and root out corruption.

According to a press release issued here on Friday, Qazi Hussain Ahmad said this while addressing a convention entitled supremacy of Islam, organized by the Jamiat Tulaba Arabia at the Nishtar Hall.

He said that a government founded on the basis of Islam could uphold the tenets of Islam. JI Amir also said that madaris were the centres of Islamic teachings and Islam is against terrorism.

He denied any separation between Islam and politics and said their politics emanated from Islamic teachings.
