KARACHI: Alimuzzubair passes away

KARACHI, Jan 6: Syed Alimuzzubair Mujaddadi, who was known among his friends as Hilal Mian, former senior manager (personnel and industrial relations) of the Dawn Group of Newspapers, died here on Monday. He was 64.

He joined the newspaper on July 22, 1953 and continued to work till December 31, 2000. He will be buried in the Sakhi Hassan graveyard. His funeral procession will be taken out from his residence — A-24, Block D, North Nazimabad — at 12.30pm on Tuesday. Namaz-i-Janaza will be held at Shafai Masjid after Zuhar prayers.

He leaves behind a widow, six sons and a daughter.
