BULF urged to extend deadline

Published February 16, 2009

QUETTA, Feb 15: Nationalist leader Nawabzada Hyarbyar Marri has appealed to the Baloch Liberation United Front (BLUF) to extend its 72-hour deadline for the acceptance of its demands set for the release of kidnapped UN official John Solecki.

Talking to a local news agency from London on Sunday, he said that as a Baloch he could feel the pain of the nation, especially with regard to missing people and other excesses they were facing.

“I appeal to the Baloch organisation to extend their ultimatum so that it may help in resolving the nation’s problems,” Mr Marri said.
