Five held with suicide jackets

QUETTA, Feb 13: Law-enforcement personnel have arrested five men from Pashtoonabad area and seized five suicide jackets and nine bombs.

A security official said on Friday that the arrests were made during a raid on a house in Wali Chowk area two days ago. The suicide jackets and bombs were found in the house.

The suspects admitted during interrogation that they were planning to carry out suicide attacks.

The official also said that three of the suspects were from Waziristan.—Staff Correspondent
