ISLAMABAD, Jan 31: The government has decided ‘not to increase’ prices of petroleum and oil lubricants in February, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notified on Saturday.
It said the price of petrol would remain unchanged at Rs57.66 a litre, light diesel at Rs48 a litre, hi-octane at Rs72.08 a litre and kerosene oil would be sold at Rs51.87 a litre.
Maintaining POL prices at the current level would reduce the amount collected under the head of petroleum development levy by Rs5 billion, officials claimed. — Staff Reporter
