SHIKARPUR, Jan 26: The Sindh High Court’s Larkana bench taking suo motu notice ordered a judicial inquiry into the torture of an accused Ahmed Ali Jatoi by the then SHO Khair Muhammad Samejo of Lakhi Ghulam Shah Police Station.

The court appointed the Civil Judge of Lakhi Ghulam Shah, Abdul Hafeez Lashari to conduct an inquiry into the incident.

The Civil Judge Lakhi recorded the statements of incumbent SHO Lakhi Abdul Wahid Buriro, HWC Muhammad Suleman Lashari and reporter of Kawish Abdul Razzaq Brohi into the incident.Besides, a departmental inquiry into the case had also been completed by the SPO Shikarpur City Niaz Chandio.
