MIRAMSHAH, Jan 12: Militants on Monday gunned down two brothers after accusing them of spying for US forces.

The brothers, 25-year-old Rehman and 30-year-old Asfandyar Khattak, who hailed from Karak, were kidnapped from Miramshah a few days ago. Their bodies were found near a village in Mirali.

According to local people, Rs10 notes had been stuffed into their mouths and people were asked not to remove the bodies till afternoon.

Ten people, including some Afghan nationals, have been killed in the region over the past two weeks on the charge of spying.
