MIRPURKHAS, Jan 9: The imposition of presidential form of government instead of the parliamentary is the cause of crisis facing the country, said Jamaat-i-Islami Secretary-General Syed Munawwar Hassan during a one-day training programme of the JI workers on Thursday.

He called upon the prime minister to sack the federal information minister for her irresponsible statement as was done with Mehmood Ali Durrani.

India to hide its inefficiency was blaming Pakistan which needs to be taken care of he said and added that judges reinstatement was a far call for Asif Ali Zardari because Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Choudhry would take up the case of National Reconciliation Ordinance, of which the former is afraid of.

Sindh JI Ameer Asadullah Bhutto, general secretary Rashid Naseem and central Naib Ameer Maqsood Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.

RALLY: Activists of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan and Sunni Tehrik took out a rally here on Friday to protest against Israeli raids in Palestine. The rally also criticised power loadshedding and rising crime and unemployment in Pakistan.
