Shopkeeper kidnapped

JACOBABAD, Jan 1: A trader was kidnapped from his shop in Gharibabad Mohalla here on Thursday.

According to Kishan Das, his brother Narain Das was present at his shop with another shopkeeper. A black Toyota car arrived there, four armed people came out of it and asked Narain Das to sit in the car.

Narain Das offered resistance and lied down on the ground. Meanwhile, other shopkeepers arrived there but bandits threatened them on which they left the place.

The armed people forced Narain Das to sit in the car and took him away.

Our Khairpur correspondent adds: A young girl was kidnapped from her house in Mohammad Urs Khaskheli village of Faiz Gunj taluka late Wednesday night.

Unidentified armed men barged into the house of Iqbal Khaskheli, held the family hostage and kidnapped his daughter Hameeda.
