FAISALABAD, Dec 30: Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Hamid Javeed said on Tuesday the local industry, particularly textile sector, was on verge of collapse.

At a press conference at the FCCI, he said the government had to work hard to save jobs of millions attached with the industry. He said severe power and gas crises were hitting the business activities hard. “We are losing international markets rapidly.”—Staff Correspondent
