BAJAUR, Oct 25: Tehrik Nifaz-i-Shariat-i-Mohammadi (TNSM) on Thursday postponed its plans to send 3,000 volunteers to Afghanistan from Malakand.
The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held at the Tehrik’s headquarters, in Maidan, which was attended by large number of activists.
The TNSM chief, Maulana Sofi Mohammad, speaking at the meeting said that he received a message from the Taliban leadership requesting him not to send volunteers to Afghanistan.
He said that the Taliban had informed him that they did not need any fresh force and they would be called at an appropriate time.
