New PBF chief elected

KARACHI, Dec 23: General body of the Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF), which met at its headquarters in Lahore the other day, elected Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture Nazar Mohammad Gondal, as its new chief.

The post was laying vacant following resignation of General Mohammad Akram earlier this month.

The meeting which has a one-point agenda, was chaired by senior vice-president, Naqi Mohsin and attended by representatives of four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), Northern Areas, Islamabad, Wapda, Army, Railways and Technical officials association.
