LAHORE, Dec 23: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif says he will ask President Asif Zardari to take action against ‘non-state actors’ allegedly involved in the Mumbai attacks provided the Indian government shared evidence with Pakistan.
He was speaking at a ceremony held in connection with Christmas here on Tuesday. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who is also PML-N president, and other party leaders were also present.
Nawaz said whosoever was involved in the Mumbai incident, it was a condemnable act.
The former prime minister, who recently started speaking loudly against the PPP co-chairperson for the latter’s failure to honour the agreements made with him, said he had no grievance against the PPP or Zardari. “I just want to see the people getting justice.” — Staff Reporter
