Karatekas named for Tehran meet

LAHORE, Dec 17: Pakistan will send a 10-member contingent to take part in the 4th International University karate championship to be held in Tehran, Iran from Dec 19 to 24.

Besides Pakistan and the hosts, India, and Azerbaijan are also competing.

The team will leave for Iran on Dec 18 from Quetta. A three-day training camp will also be held in Iran from Dec 19.

Team: Mohammad Kashif, Zahoor Abbas, Majid Ali, Juma Khan, Qamar-uz-Zaman, Hassan Ali, Moen-ud-Din, Abdul Rehman.
