Yet another train derails

KHANEWAL, Dec 14: A Karachi-bound passenger train derailed near Mian Shammir Railway Station, four kilometers from here, on Sunday evening.

Sources said two coaches of Pakistan Express (46-Down), which departed from Faisalabad at 3pm, derailed at a section where maintenance work was going on.

They said the entire traffic on Khanewal-Faisalabad section was suspended. They said no casualty or injury was reported.

TOBA TEK SINGH: The rail traffic was disrupted on Khanewal-Faisalabad track owing to the derailment near Khanewal railway station. The Quetta-bound Chilton Express was stopped at Toba Tek Singh station, the Karachi-bound Millat Express at Shorkot Cantonment station and Karachi-bound Karakurram Express at Faisalabad railway station.
