UPPER DIR: Man gunned down

UPPER DIR, Dec 14: Unidentified assailants gunned down a man at the local bus terminal on Sunday.

The assailants opened indiscriminate firing on Syed Mohammad, resident of Doog Dara, in broad daylight at the crowded Dir Bus Terminal at 2:45pm. The man was seriously wounded but later succumbed to his injuries at the district headquarters hospital.

The murderers escaped from the scene.

According to Dir police station, no first information report had been registered and they had no details about the incident immediately.—Correspondent
