LAHORE, Dec 13: Robbers looted Rs50,000 in cash and six cell phones from four people in street crime incidents at Karim Park of Shafeeqabad on Saturday.

Police said two robbers, riding a bike, stopped Muhammad Qasim Bhatti, Dr Muhammad Sarwar, Aizaz Akmal Malik and Rizwan at different spots and looted cash and cell phones.

Three robbers stopped Riaz and his family at Factory Area and looted Rs50,000 in cash and three-tola jewellery while as many armed men waylaid Razia Bibi at Nawankot and snatched Rs8,000 in cash and gold ornaments.

Two robbers deprived Mohsin Mahmood of a laptop and a cell phone at Racecourse while as many robbers deprived Kashif Azhar of Rs50,000, a wrist watch and a cell phone at Ghalib Market.

Two armed men stopped Khizar Hayat at Garden Town and snatched Rs200, a cell phone and drove away with his motorcycle.
