Family robbed of jewellery

LAHORE, Dec 11: Robbers deprived a family of jewellery and a car at Iqbal Town on Thursday.

Police said three robbers stopped Muhammad Munir and his family and snatched gold ornaments worth Rs275,000 and drove away with their car.

Two armed men waylaid Muhammad Tufail, a retired army official, at Shadbagh and looted Rs15,000 in cash and four cell phones. Two robbers deprived Muhammad Khan of Rs7,000 in cash and two cell phones at Shahdara Town.

Ali Khan was robbed of Rs7,500 in cash and two cell phones in Lower Mall police limits while Mohsin was robbed of a cell phone and motorcycle at Gulshan-i-Ravi.
