Karachi Port operations

KARACHI, Dec 6: Seven ships carrying chemicals, high-speed diesel and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where seven ships, Blossom to load ethanol, Datian, Pations-1 to unload and load general cargo, Oocl Ability, Ariana, H.& H. Tide and Harmony to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of as many.

The departing ships were led by Flores Sea, Urania, Northern Harmony, Sima Yazd, Eric G. Gibson and Ariana, while Blossom, Oocl Ability, Martha Russ and Red Sea Spirit are due to sail out on Sunday.

A total tonnage of 82,093 tons comprising 40,239 tons of export cargo including 9,344 tons of cement and 41,854 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Al-Marwah with chemicals, Gulf Tiger with high-speed diesel, Cosco Karachi with furnace oil, Sima Pride, Kapitan Byankin, Mol Admiration with containers. Csav Lauca with containers is due on Monday.
