KARACHI, Dec 3: The Karachi Golf Club (KGC) on Wednesday named two outfits for the third National Amateur Team Trophy and Challenge Shield golf tournament which begins at Lahore’s Royal Palm Golf Club on Friday.
According to newly-elected captain of the KGC, Asad I.A. Khan, the teams were picked after two-day trials held over 36 holes.
The ‘A’ team left for Lahore on Wednesday while the ‘B’ team is due to travel on Thursday. This is the only Inter-club golf team event being played at the national level.
Teams:
‘A’: Mohammad Ali Hai, Cdr. Ansar Mahmood, Ali Sher and Abrar Ahmed.
‘B’: Sohail Rana, Zahid Ebrahim, Yasir Zaidi and Ejaz A. Khan.
