KOHAT, Nov 29: Two soldiers were injured when suspected militants fired a rocket at an army base in Spina Thana on Friday night.
The troops retaliated in all directions due to the darkness but no damage was caused on the other side.
The injured were identified as sepoys Fazal and Wazeer. They were taken to the CMH Kohat.
According to sources, the militants attacked the base from the Khyber Agency side where they had been hiding after a military operation.
MILITANT KILLED: A militant was killed and another injured during an exchange of fire with security forces in Darra Adamkhel on Saturday.
Officials said the security forces were patrolling when they came face to face with two militants on a motorcycle in Samarkhel area.
The deceased was identified as Aqal Mir and the injured as Asal Mir. The injured was taken to a hospital where he is being interrogated.
