KC snooker from Monday

KARACHI, Nov 29: Eight teams are to vie for honours in the second KC Inter-club snooker tournament which begins at the Karachi Club on Monday.

The host Karachi Club has entered three teams in the week-long contest. The teams have been equally drawn into two groups and the top two from each will qualify for the semi-finals. The final will be played on Dec 6.

According to the format, four singles and two doubles of one frame each will be played in each match. The league matches will be held in three sessions starting at 5pm daily.

Karachi Club ‘A’ are the defending champions.

Groups:

‘A’: Karachi Club ‘A’, Time Snooker Club, Aga Khan Gymkhana and Karachi Club ‘C’.

‘B’: Area Snooker Club, Karachi Club ‘B’, Karachi Gymkhana and Snooker Zone.
