Father of two killed by robbers

VEHARI, Nov 29: Robbers killed a labourer for resisting a robbery in Gagoo police precincts late on Friday night.

Abdul Ghafar, a father of two, was on his way to home from Mustafabad village when robbers stopped him and tried to snatch a few thousand rupees he had with him. Ghafar resisted them and they opened fire at him, killing him at the scene. The robbers grabbed the money, threw his body in Pakpattan Canal and fled.—Correspondent
