‘Offender’ killed

KASUR, Nov 29: Police killed an offender wanted in a double murder case in an ‘encounter’ here on Saturday evening.

Mustafabad police raided offender Imran Bhutta’s outhouse on a tip-off.

He opened fire at the police and the police retaliated. Finally, Bhutta was killed in the encounter that continued for half-an-hour.

SHOT DEAD: Two men shot dead a teenage girl in her house on Manga Road in Raiwind’s Sadar police precincts.

Two unidentified men barged in Muhammad Aslam’s house and shot dead his 18-year-old daughter Sobia.—Correspondent
