Bride, two women killed in accident

SANGHAR, Nov 28: Three women, including a bride, were killed and five other people were injured in an accident on Bhit Shah road near Tando Adam on Friday.

Those injured included the groom who was taken to Hyderabad in serious condition.

Juman, whose marriage had taken place on Wednesday, along with his bride and relatives was going to Bhit Shah from Serai Jan Mohammad village in a rickshaw to meet his in-laws. The rickshaw was hit by a speedy four-wheeler.

As a result, Shahzana (bride), Ms Wesi and Mai Jeeyandi died on the spot and Juman, Pervez, Beebal, Sara alias Guddi and another person whose name could not be ascertained were injured.

The driver of the four-wheeler escaped after the accident. The bodies and those injured were taken to a local hospital from where those injured were referred to Hyderabad.—Correspondent
