Published November 29, 2008

KARACHI, Nov 28: The Directorate of Evening Programme, University of Karachi, has clarified that there will be no entrance test for admissions to the BS Commerce.

A spokesman for the directorate referred to printing errors in the prospectus booklet, and said that the requirement of entrance test as appeared on the page 13 was not for the BC Commerce admission.

He further stated that the number of seats in the Department of Applied Chemistry (Page 11) was “45” and “5”, respectively, and not 96 and 15 as appeared in the columns.

Meanwhile, the Dean of Science Faculty, Prof Shahana Urooj Kazmi, on Friday announced that the 35th All Pakistan Science Conference will be held from December 20 to 23 at the KU campus.—Agencies
