KARACHI: ‘Bandit’, victim killed

KARACHI, Nov 26: A 17-year-old college student and a suspected bandit were killed when the suspect’s accomplices opened fire in a minibus at Shahnawaz Chowk near Gutter Baghicha.

The Pak Colony police said that four bandits were trying to deprive the minibus conductor of the cash when a young man grappled with them.

They said the dacoits opened fire, killing the young man and one of their accomplices.

The police said the victim boy was identified as Waqas, but the suspected bandit remained unidentified.

The police said that one of the bandits, identified as Alam Aziz, was arrested.—Staff Reporter
