CHITRAL, May 11: A procession was taken out by the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam here on Friday against the operation of American commandos in the Tribal areas. The procession turned into a protest rally at the Goldoor Chowk and was addressed by district ameer Maulana Abdul Latif and others.

The speakers criticized the government for allowing the Americans to launch operation on its soil in the false pretext of Al Qaeda workers.

They added that the suicide bombings around the world shows the harsh reaction of the Ummah against the discriminatory treatment meted to the Muslims everywhere in the world.

They further made it clear that in the face of dangers they were ready to lay down their lives.
