Islah to attend FIH meeting in US

KARACHI, Nov 22: Former Pakistan captain and coach Islahuddin is due to leave for Los Angles on Sunday to attend a meeting of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Rules Board on Tuesday.

Islah has been representing Pakistan in the Rules Board meetings since 1993.

The FIH meetings will be held from Nov 23 to 30. Former international Mudassar Asghar has already left to attend the Competition Committee meeting.

PHF president Qasim Zia and secretary Asif Bawja will leave for Los Angles in a couple of days to attend the Congress of FIH which will elect new office-bearers.—APP
