Islamabad, Nov 22: Arif Nizami (Nawai Waqt) and Khushnood Ali Khan (Daily Sahafat) were elected president and general secretary respectively of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors at a meeting here on Saturday.
Zahid Malik of the Pakistan Observer and Aamir Mahmood of the Khawateen Digest group were elected senior vice-president and joint secretary respectively, according to a press release.
