KARACHI, Nov 21: Sindh teenagers produced excellent performance as they dominated the opening day of the 15th National Boys Age Group swimming and water polo championships at the PNS Karsaz pool on Friday.

Sindh grabbed all the 14 golds, ten silver and three bronze medals. Aniq Anwer won three gold and two silver medals for Sindh.

Captain Mazhar Naqvi set the new mark in 100 metre butterfly as he covered the distance in two minutes and 46 seconds, beating the previous record by one second. Mazhar claimed two gold and as many silver medals. Sindh amassed 163 points to lead the five team contest. NWFP was second with 46 points followed by Punjab with 29 points.—APP
