HYDERABAD, Nov 21: On the directives of Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, who is also the chairman of the Sindhi Adabi Board, the board has released more funds for medical treatment of noted poet Ahmed Khan Madhosh who has been admitted to a Karachi hospital.

According to a spokesman of the board, a board official met with the poet in a Karachi hospital, delivered him the funds and assured him that all the expenses for his medical treatment would be met by the board.

Mr Madhosh was first admitted to a hospital of Hyderabad and later shifted to Karachi. At both the places, the board has borne the expenses of his treatment.

MUET: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology authorities at a meeting on Friday finalised arrangements for regular and theory examinations of different batches to be held from November 24.

The examinations will be conducted at 16 centres and 4,803 students will appear in them.

The meeting made it clear that no outsider would be allowed at the campus during the examinations. The meeting chalked out a programme for availability of point buses for the students.
