MINGORA, Nov 19: Four militants and two women were killed when security forces pounded suspected hideouts in the Bar Bandai area of Swat on Wednesday.

Military sources said a search operation in Swat was continuing.

It is learnt some shells fell on houses in Khwazahkela tehsil, killing the two women and injuring four other people.

A curfew was imposed in the troubled areas of Kabal tehsil.

Meanwhile, militants blew up the building of a government girls’ school on late Tuesday night. The four-room building was completely destroyed and its furniture and records were damaged.
