Case against 14 for fake domiciles

SAHIWAL, Nov 18: Police have registered cases against 14 candidates who submitted fake domiciles with their applications for the posts of constables.

The district police advertised 120 posts of constables and received applications from candidates. During the verification, domiciles of 14 candidates who had passed the written test for the posts were found fake. Those whose domiciles were found fake are Nauman, Irfan, Sardar, Imran, Hasan, Zafar Abbas, Tahir, Allah Yar, Irfan Hyder, Muhammad Imran, Shakeel Anjum, Munir, Faiz Rasool and Sajjad.

KILLER ARRESTED: A youth, who killed his younger sister and her lover on seeing them in a compromising position in 98/9-L village on Sunday, was arrested on Tuesday.

Javed learnt a few months ago that his younger sister had an affair with Junaid of the same village. He warned her over the affair. On Sunday, he learnt that his sister was with Junaid in his house. He barged in Junaid’s house, found the two in a compromising condition, gunned them down at the scene and fled.

Dera Rahim police registered a case against Javed and arrested him on Tuesday.
