Zone-II, IV Whites reach U-17 final

KARACHI, Nov 15: Zone-II Whites and Zone-IV Whites stormed into the KCCA Under-17 Inter-zonal cricket tournament final after securing commanding wins in their respective semi-final games on Friday.

Ali Ahmed hit an unbeaten 44 as Zone-II whites thrashed Zone-VII Whites by seven wickets in a low-scoring semi-final at the TMC Ground.

Batting first, Zone-VII Whites made a paltry 99 in 35.3 overs. Zone-II Whites, in reply, reached the target in 26.3 overs.

In the other semi-final played at the KCCA Stadium, Zone-IV Whites defeated Zone-V Blues by five wickets.

Batting first, Zone-V Blues posted 192 in 49.2 overs. In reply, Zone-IV Whites romped home in 38 overs while losing five wickets.
