Hospital clash: report sent to CM

RAWALPINDI, Nov 15: The three-member committee constituted to probe into the Thursday clash between doctors and nurses at Benazir Bhutto Hospital has sent its findings to Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

The committee comprising DG health Dr Javed Tariq, EDO community development Dr Noreen Bashir and vice-president Rawalpindi Press Club Jamil Mirza recorded the statements of a number of doctors, nurses, two media persons and some patients on Friday evening and Saturday morning.

The committee was formed on the directive of the chief minister to investigate the incident which had started between a nurse and a postgraduate trainee doctor over a petty issue.—Our Reporter
