KARACHI, Nov 14: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has decided to offer central contracts to top six to eight cueists of the country.
“Yes we have prepared a plan to offer central contracts to top players for the year 2009,” PBSA President Alamgir Shaikh said on Friday.
“The PBSA managing committee has taken the decision,” he added. “We are working to raise funds and secure sponsorship for the circuit and then put the proposal before the players.”
He said the PBSA prepared a budget for the next year and submit it to the PSB for release of grant.
He said players would get from Rs5,000 to 10,000 after the contract according to their rankings.
