HYDERABAD, Nov 14: Additional District Judge-III Hyderabad Khalid Hussain N. Shahani on Friday ordered the SHO to lodge an FIR against PP Parliamentarians MPA, Imdad Pitafi, PPP leader Abdul Sattar Bachani, his son and Chairman District Development Committee, Zulfikar Bachani, DCO and DPO Tando Allahyar and others if a cognisable offence was made out by the applicant District Nazim Tando Allahyar Dr Rahila Magsi.

The judge ordered that it was mandatory under section 154 Cr.PC that when a person approaches a police station and communicates information relating to the commission of a cognisable offence, he shall have to write and read it over to informant.

The judge observed that applicant had been deprived of her right as she was refused registration of an FIR

Dr Magsi filed an application under section 22-A and 22-B through Sharifan Ghanghro, Advocate mentioning that on November 6 she was informed that Zulfiqar Sattar Bachani, Chairman District Development Committee, his father Abdul Sattar Bachani, Abdul Latif Mangio, MPA Imdad Pitafi, Jalil Dars, Ghulam Mohammad Baghi, Rahim Baloch, Irfan Memon, DCO, DPO and DSP Tando Allahyar along with 1,000 to 1,200 armed people attacked her office.

She said that these people remained there for several hours and forcibly took away government documents and damaged the portrait of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. She submitted that they hurled threats of dire consequences that it would not be safe for her to come to her Secretariat.

She said that it was done in the presence of DCO and DPO Tando Allahyar but they instead of restraining facilitated them in illegal act.

She said that soon after getting information she contacted the SHO police station Tando Allahyar but he refused to lodge any kind of complaint against them.

She maintained that all this was done at the behest of the ruling party and local police were helpless.
