Jewellery, cash robbed

ISLAMABAD, Nov 13: Robbers have struck at three different places and made off with cash, gold ornaments, valuables and a vehicle, police said here on Thursday.

Three persons armed with weapons entered a house at street 20, sector G-8/1 and held up the inmates at gunpoint and looted Rs60,000 in cash, gold ornaments and other valuables.

Sira Ambreen, resident of Pholgran in a complaint to Bharakahu police stated that thieves stole pounds, dollars and other valuables worth Rs200,000 from her house. She suspected that her housemaid had committed the theft.

Meanwhile, Qateeb Rizawan’s Toyota Corolla model 1993 was stolen from outside his house, located at G-11/2. — Staff Reporter
