Strict security for Sikh pilgrims

TAXILA, Nov 13: The district police in collaboration with other law-enforcement agencies here on Thursday reviewed a security plan for over 300 Indian Sikh pilgrims arriving on Friday.

The yatrees on their three-day visit to Hassanabdal will offer their religious rituals. Sources in the local administration said due to current law and order situation in the country, extra security measures, including installation of walk though gates, security check-ins and close circuit cameras, had been adopted around the gurdwara. — Correspondent
