PTV continue losing streak in soccer

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11: PTV suffered their 17th defeat when they lost to PIA 3-0 in a Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match played at the Jinnah Stadium football ground on Tuesday.

After a barren first half, Nasurullah Khan opened PIA’s account with a goal in the 52nd minute followed by another by Adeem Shahzad after barely two minutes.

Shakir Lashari slammed in the third goal for the national carrier in the 66th minute sealing the fate of the match. PIA now have 22 points from 21 matches as compared to PTV’s 5 points in 20 matches.

Meanwhile, in another match Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Steel played a 0-0 draw.

Navy have 30 points from 20 matches while Pakistan Steel completed 22 games, earning 25 points.
