ISLAMABAD, Nov 10: Talented Danish Atlas created an upset on the second day of the qualifying round of the Pakistan Open Squash by beating Mohammad Asyraf Azan of Malaysia at the newly inaugurated Benazir Bhutto Squash Complex on Monday.

Danish hammered top seed Azan in a 37-minute decider in three straight games, winning 12-10, 11-6, 11-3.

Meanwhile, three other matches were also decided at the Mushaf Squash Complex. Amjad Khan, Waqar Mehboob, and Aqib Hanif won their respective matches.

Amjad Khan (Pakistan) upstaged compatriot Safeerullah 11-9, 10-5 in a short 20-minute decider. Safeerullah was injured after his ankle was twisted. Waqar Mehboob sidelined Shoaib Hasan 11-8, 10-12, 8-11, 11-9, 11-4.
