HYDERABAD, Nov 10: The leaders of nationalist parties have formed ‘Save Sindh’s natural Resources Committee’ after passing a resolution to resist privatisation or sale of provincial resources.

The meeting was held on Monday at the G.M. Syed Edifice, (residence of G.M. Syed’s grandson Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah) in Jamshoro.

The meeting was presided over by the President of Sindh United Party (SUP) Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah for evolving a joint strategy against the privatisation of Qadirpur gas field.

The representatives of different factions of the Jeay Sindh movement, including JSQM-A, JSM-T, JSMM, JSQM and JST attended the meeting.

Mr Shah is Convenor of the Committee and Abdul Wahid Arisar, Dr Mir Alam Mari, Nawaz Khan Zounr, Rasool Bux Thebo and Qamar Bhatti its members.

The meeting decided to call a peaceful strike throughout Sindh against the sale and privatisation of Sindh’s natural resources on 22nd of this month and participate in a protest rally of the Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party on 16th.
