Pro-govt elder killed

QUETTA, Nov 8: A pro-government tribal elder and his guard were gunned down in Sui area of the Dera Bugti district on Saturday.

Police sources said Wadera Bahadur Khan Bugti was going home in Darbar area with his guard, Waheed Murad, when unidentified people opened fire on them. They died on the spot. A spokesman for the defunct Baloch Republican Army, Sarbaz Baloch, has claimed responsibility for the attack.—Staff Correspondent
