LAHORE, Oct 30: The third phase of Football for Hope Programme under FIFA Technical Adviser Holger Obermann commenced at Lahore on Thursday.

On his first day in the city, the German coach was introduced to the children of Groups ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ at the Model Town Football Academy (MTFA). He praised the working of the academy while providing finer tips in training/coaching to their Chief Coach Chaudhry Mohammad Asghar and others.

Also present on the occasion were FIFA Assistant Development Officer Mohsen Gilani, Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Secretary-General Lt Col Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi.

The clinic continues on Friday too while Saturday, Nov 1, has been fixed for the academy’s women’s wing and other female players from the rest of Lahore.
